2017 Fair Exhibitor Rules
With the exception of entries in Farm Crops and Fairest of the Fair, which must be from Sevier County, all competition is open to any county in Tennessee.
All exhibits must remain on exhibit throughout the fair. They may be picked up Sept. 10, 11 and 12th. Exceptions are livestock and dogs, which will be on the grounds the day they are to be shown. Pre-registration is encouraged and entry forms may be filled out online at www.seviercountyfair.org. Premium checks will be sent to the address furnished on the entry form. Premium will be paid by check before Oct. 2, 2017. Checks are void after 60 days; checks older than 60 days will not be honored.
While we do have security in the Exhibit Hall and on the grounds, entries of any kind, in any department, are made at the owner’s risk. The Sevier County Fair Association assumes no responsibility whatsoever.
Unless otherwise noted, exhibitors may not enter more than one entry in any one lot. All entries must be made by/owned by/created by/grown by the person whose name is on the entry form. Any violations will be disqualified, and store bought items will not be judged.
Any person who enters FIVE OR MORE entries will receive one free exhibitor pass, which is good for ONE ADMISSION ONLY from Sept.1-9th.
The right is reserved to withhold the prizes awarded in any case in which it appears to the Fair that the regulations have not been complied with or that fraud or deception has been attempted, or when the article is not deemed worthy; the Fair’s decision shall be final and binding. When articles are not deemed worthy, judges will refuse to award premiums. It is not the policy of the Fair distribute premiums equally among exhibitors, and no premium shall be awarded to any article that does not possess high intrinsic merit.
Our judges are selected with the utmost care. Only judges and Fair workers may be present at time of judging.
