FAQ's:

1. When does the fair start?
For the first time, the fair will be nine days!  Your 2017 Sevier County Fair will run from September 1st through September 9th.

2. How much does it cost to get in?
Entry for 10 and under is free; 11 an up is $6.

3. When are Sevier County Days?
We are the Sevier County Fair, most of our fairgoers are local. At only $6 to get in, one of the lowest entry fees in east Tennessee, you could say that EVERY day is Sevier County Day.

4. How much is parking?
Parking is always free.

5. How much are rides?
You may buy individual tickets for the rides if you only wish to go on one or two. These tickets are usually $1.25 each, and each ride takes anywhere from 1 - 5 tickets. If you wish to ride a lot of rides, you can take advantage of the unlimited ride wristbands, sold nightly for $20.

6. My child is only x years old. Do I still need tickets for them to ride?
Yes, we have rides for all ages, and all require tickets or wristbands.

7. Do you have discounted wristbands?
If you go to a local Food City during August, and spend at least $5, on the bottom of your receipt you will find a coupon for buy one/get one wristbands. THIS COUPON IS GOOD THURSDAY NIGHT ONLY AT THE FAIR.

8. Is there anything free?
Nightly we offer several free events, including free laser tag every night, kids area, scavenger hunt, contests, and many more. Check our website (www.seviercountyfair.org) for a full calendar of events.

9. My son/daughter/niece/nephew/grandson/granddaughter is competing or performing. Do I need to buy a ticket to get in?
Yes. The $6 gate entry might not sound like a lot, but this is what allows us to offer free events nightly, in addition to the rides, games, and food that will cost above your gate entry.

10. It says the dog show is at 11:00am on Saturday, but the fair opens at 3. Is that a mistake?
No. The midway for the fair, with the rides and games and food, will open at 3:00 pm. The dog show is next to the cattle barn, and that area will be open and accessible.

11. What happens if it rains? Do you close?
No, we do not cancel the fair for the rain. If there is thunder and lightning in the area, the midway will temporarily close, but the exhibit hall, the Main Street Market, and all other indoor activities will continue as planned.

12. Do you offer rain checks?
No, we do not. If it begins to rain after you enter the fair, it is up to you whether you stay or not, but we do not refund admissions or wristbands.
