Other Fairgrounds Event
We are the fair, not the fairgrounds. Our offices are located at the fairgrounds and we are glad to help where we can, but we are not in charge of the fairgrounds, nor do we make any funds from the other events at the fairgrounds. We are always happy to share other events that are happening at the grounds, but if you need more information about booking the fairgrounds you need to call Dennis Sinder (865) 368-9013. Below you can find the information we have on upcoming events. EACH EVENT HANDLES THEIR OWN VENDORS, ADMISSION, POLICIES, AND PRICING. GoodTidings Christmas Giveaways are one day events to give the gift of Christmas to less-fortunate children and families.
GoodTidings Christmas is an outreach of The Tabb Family through Sean Tabb Ministries. This great charity has been a yearly highlight of The Tabb Family for 16 years! Our children have grown up being part of the collecting, decorating, serving snacks and passing out gifts every year. With great joy, we, along with many volunteers, spend the weeks before Christmas preparing and receiving supplies from individual donors, churches, businesses, and companies. Gifts of new toys, teen and adult gifts, candy, fruit, food, shoes, coats, clothes, as well as, tax-deductible donations to be converted to such gifts, are given out every year.
Many volunteers, including several youth groups come in from about 6 different states to serve on the main day. Above all, we praise the LORD for the spiritual results of this ministry, the many souls saved and lives turned back to God.
Good Tidings 2025 will be held on:
December 20th in Sevierville, TN at the Fairgrounds
Schedule for the event day:
-7:30AM volunteers arrive
-9:30AM gate open as coffee, hot chocolate, milk, and snacks are handed out
-Clothes, coats and shoes are given away
-11:00AM a short celebration service begins with a live Nativity scene, singing from The Tabb Family and the Gospel preached with an invitation given.
-12 noon is the giveaway! Assisted by volunteers, folks go through the line – first stuffed animals then baby toys on up to teens gifts, followed by candy, snacks, fruit and lastly food and drinks.
-During the event, stage prizes are called out including new bikes, large toys, teen, men and women gifts
Churches, businesses, and individuals from all over the country make this special ministry possible and the lives of untold thousands have been touched by it. We have been privileged to minister to as many as 6,000 in one day through this great outreach.
